1) SPRING REGION BOARD MEETINGS: - April 18th and 19th in Grand Junction, Colorado – Hosted by Desert West
- EVERYONE is invited
to attend the Region Board Meeting! We’d love it if you could make it!
- Report: The Call To Meeting
will be sent out this month. All Region Board members will be asked to submit a report for the meeting.
The report covers the time from the 2007 Annual Meeting, August 2nd, up to April. The Region
Reps’ report tells about the activities, programs and plans of your Chapter. Officers and Chairmen
report on what’s happened in regard to their positions. Please email these to Kathy Melville prior to the Board meeting.
- Proxy:
If you are a member of the Region Board and cannot attend the board meeting (s), but someone can come in your place, make
sure to fill their name in as proxy and return the form to Kathy Melville. We would love to have someone
at the meeting, but in order for them to vote and represent you, we need to have the proxy form.
2) SEMINAR REGISTRATION SCHOLARSHIP
– - 2008 – Thanks for sending in the names! The winner was Sharron Ruesewald
from Pikes Peak Chapter. Carolyn Burke from Colorado Chapter was chosen as the alternate.
- 2009
– Please, if you haven’t already, submit a list of the names of people who plan on or are thinking of going to
Region Seminar 2009 in Boise to Kathy Melville. Please mark this list of names clearly: 2009. We will draw that winner
and alternate at the closing meal at Seminar 2008! DEADLINE for the names to get to Kathy is JUNE 14th.
3) CLARE AWARD NOMINATIONS DUE–
Nominations for the 2008 RMR Clare Award need to be to me by 6pm, APRIL 3rd. Please see last
month’s Border To Border for more details. 4) PROSPECTORS 2008 - Deadline
for submitting a piece – JUNE 1st
