Student Level:        All : Knowledge of simple circular Peyote stitch a plus, but Not                                 required.

Tears of molten glass drop from Snake's turquoise eye as he turns back for a last look at Eden.  You will create a jeweler's quality brooch with Art Deco flair in lavish French Jett, a semi-precious cabochon, hematite and Czech glass beads on a base of Dupioni silk,  using bead embroidery techniques from the early 1900's fashion houses.

Sara Zander holds a Master of Arts degree and a B.S. in Art Education.  Her media of choice during many years of teaching were Silversmithing and Fiber Arts.  Winner of New York’s prestigious Creative Eye Award, Sara exhibits her work through galleries, shows and museums.  She has been active in EGA’s Greater Pacific Region since 2000.  Her great joy in sharing her knowledge shows in a light-hearted and warm teaching approach.  Visit Sara on line at www.Ladystitch.com.
