The 7th Annual Breckenridge Stitch in Event is Looking Good! This is a great opportunity to get out of the city and cool off in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.  Better still, is the opportunity to stitch and have the company of friends.

There is of course the unofficial UFO  "UFinished  Objects" Challenge. Consider this the chance to complete those " I just need a couple of hours to finish this" time.  The one who finishes the most "WINS".  Pat Topping I think you are the current front runner for the most completed......

The local needlework and bead shops extend discounts to us during our annual weekend and it is so much fun! Even if stitching is not on the agenda there is hiking, biking, dining, live music and the Riverwalk for your entertainment pleasure.

This will take place July 23-25th 2010.  You can get there early on Friday  like those Canon City diehards do :)  - and leave late on Sunday or any other schedule in between.

 Pikes Peak Chapter

The Pikes Peak Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. (EGA) is a non-profit organization devoted to educating and promoting the highest standards in the design and technique in needlework. Membership is open to all persons regardless of sex, race, color, religion, national or ethic origin or level of needlework accomplishment. The Pikes Peak Chapter received it's own charter on January 15, 1975.

The monthly meeting is held on the second Saturday of every month (excluding October and the summer months) from 9:00 am to noon at the Central United Methodist Church, 4373 Galley Rd., Colorado Springs.

The Pikes Peak Chapter produces a monthly newsletter, Stitchin' Around the Peak. Monthly meetings, excluding the summer months, include a general business meeting as well as a project class or demonstration. An active education chair provides the local members with additional seminars and opportunities for learning. The annual fund raising function is held in October with an auction of donated needlework.

Visit one of our monthly meetings as our guest. If you decide to join, the annual membership dues are $47. The $47 membership fee also includes the national and regional membership.
