One of the really fun things at seminar is the silent auction.  Here are pictures of the tables with the treasures up for action.  We had jewelry, books, charts, teddy bears, all different types of needlework stitched by chapter members and other people.  Bidders hovered around the tables on the closing day to see if they got their treasure and there were many smiling faces as the bidding closed.

Another favorite part of seminar is shopping at the local boutique!  Here we have pictures of the store, A Different Drummer, Owner Lilias Ralph who is located at 5900 Anaheim Suite A, Albuquerque, NM 87113. Phone 1-877-869-0261.  I put this information here for you in case you need to call her and you have misplaced her card.  Her email is gripitplus@earthlink.net.

Besides having a Boutique to shop we love buying our books from Ruth Kerns Books, http://www.ruthkernbooks.com

Her service is more than just a convenience.  Often times a teacher will recommend a book to add to your library or to enhance your skill in the subject she is teaching.  Ruth provides this service for us and we thank her

We all have to eat and our dinning was cafeteria style.  You could get your food when you wanted and sit where you wanted so we had many friendly table gatherings of friends from all over the region.

Last I would like you to know that we like to provide a venue for members to display their work.  We call it Prospectors and it is an excellent way for RMR members to exhibit original and adaptation pieces in a non-competitive environment. All work will be accepted. Details will be distributed to your chapter.

I include these pictures here for content and not to display a particular piece of work and so you can see that we really have talented members who participate in Prospectors each year.  These are pictures of only 2 of the tables.  If memory serves me right we had 8 or more banquet tables of needle work.

We want to encourage you to participate in this event.
